At SCNZ, we’re committed to fostering a welcoming and respectful community at all our events. Our Events Code of Conduct outlines what we expect from everyone involved, including attendees, employees, exhibitors, speakers, suppliers, sponsors, volunteers, and other participants. Here’s a simple breakdown of our expectations:
Consequences for unacceptable behavior include immediate expulsion from the event without refund, and further expulsions from future events may be imposed. If you witness or experience unacceptable behavior, please notify event staff immediately. We prioritise confidentiality and safety for all participants, and our staff are available to assist at any time.
Additionally, we expect honesty, integrity, and fairness from all participants, avoiding conflicts of interest and discrimination. This code of conduct applies to all SCNZ events, and we appreciate your cooperation in creating a positive and inclusive environment.
At SCNZ, we prioritise punctuality and respect for all attendees. To ensure a seamless experience for those who arrive on time, we adhere to the following late arrival and no-show policy:
Late Arrival Policy: Attendees are allowed a 15-minute grace period for late arrivals to our courses/events. Beyond this grace period, latecomers may be asked to sit out or miss portions of the event and may not receive a certificate of attendance.
No-Show Policy: Failure to advise us of your inability to attend, for any reason, may result in a $120 no-show fee.
Please note that any changes to this policy are at the discretion of the host or presenter of the course and/or event, with the aim of ensuring a smooth and productive experience for all participants.
